Origin
The Sansevieria trifasciata `Laurentii`, also known as the striped sansevieria, originates from West Africa. It grows in a dry, savannah-like climate where the humidity levels vary. Traditionally, this plant has been cultivated for its fibres, which are used in ropes, baskets and textile art.
